I can't help it. I'm so stoked about this movie. And after Kevin Smith hyped it up and Captain Kirk went off the rail about it, I am dying to watch Star Trek. Check out the new cast - the one in the black, Chris Pine, is the new Captain Kirk.
I love how they are all so young. I suppose the cast of the original were all so young back in the 60's, but when I started Star Trek I was used to the old guys in the movies, especially McCoy. And true to form, if the blue shirt is accurate looks to be about 30 amongst a bunch of 22 year olds.
There's even a ST:TNG tie-in comic series coming in January.
Pre-views are talking big, but truth be told, I can't wait no matter the outcome. I need some Trek.

Ooooh... so this is the cast. I'm not a Trek fan, but was very interested upon seeing the first trailer release.

Kirk was always my favourite - even if the pointy-eared Vulcan got more love from the fans. We'll make a believer out of you!
Hey, I never got a chance to watch the cult of sincerity, we should carve a time out to do that!
Yes! Um, yes to the Cult of Sincerity, that is. :P
Although JJ Abrams may just get me into the Trek mania. I feel like I need a lesson or two before watching the new flick though... kinda like with Transformers. haha
